We bid farewell to our 1st & LG floors for now!
Key happenings at Bobby's this month are of course bidding a fond farewell to The South Coast Makers, Flaming Nora's and Spill the Beans Cafe so our 1st floor can return to construction for the next phase of the project. They won't be going far though as they take over retail space at our sister building, The Avenue, due to open next month.
Our Lower Garden Floor has also closed in order for lift prep to begin, with concessions previously housed on this floor, moving up to the Ground Floor.
We have also reduced the scaffolding over Franco Manca, which will be fully removed in the coming months, after being erected when we opened in 2021. That being said, scaffolding will return once we start work to this area, but think of it as a new and improved scaffolding!
Another major section of construction is also taking place at the rear of the builiding, as we start to break out the loading bay to install a new gas mains pipe. Not the most enticing element of the project however is substantial in the work that is going in to instate it. The additional pipe was necessary in order to fire up the the pizza ovens that Gozney use within their HQ, because what is a pizza oven company without any pizza ovens?
In other news, we have also confirmed the lift supplier who will be installing our brand new additional lift will be Dorset Lifts! As with all of our project work, local suppliers are always our first choice and we are very excited to start preparing for work to begin next year.
